A builder, end to end

I’m a designer who codes and an engineer with taste, and honestly I can’t help it. Give me a fuzzy problem and I want to sit with it, pull it apart, find where it actually hurts, then design a way through and build the thing myself. Leaving something half-made drives me a little crazy.

I’ve been making things for the web since before it was easy, and I studied architecture along the way, which taught me to think in systems and structure. Design, engineering, product: I’ve never wanted to pick one, because the whole joy is carrying an idea from a rough sketch all the way to something people actually use.

The common thread isn’t a job title. I like to make the thing, and make it well.
